Securing the Future: Sport Law Welcomes New Partners

September 18, 2026 – (Toronto, Ontario) - We are thrilled to share that Michelle Kropp and Will Russell are joining Sport Law as partners. Since joining our team, Michelle and Will have both brought dedication and a fresh perspective to Sport Law, and this next chapter is a well-earned recognition of everything they bring to the table for our clients, our team, and the broader Canadian sport community we’re proud to serve.

Michelle, who regularly represents sport organizations in all manners of sport-related disputes and litigation, will be guiding the further development of the dispute resolution side of our team.  Will’s practice focuses on governance modernization and the development of effective and integrated sport systems at the national, provincial and territorial level, helping organizations navigate ongoing shifts in the delivery of sport across the country.

Dina Bell-Laroche will continue to guide the leadership and strategy elements of our practice. Dina's guidance and exceptional vision remain a cornerstone of this work, and we are grateful to have her steering that side of our business. “Having Will and Michelle step into positions of leadership expands our capacity to serve a sector we care deeply about. We are fortunate to have such dedicated and visionary leaders further our vision of elevating sport.”
