Suzanne Gipp

Suzanne Gipp joins the Sport Law team as a professional bookkeeping and accounting consultant to help our clients modernize their business and financial practices. Suzanne has over a decade of experience supporting government, for-profit and nonprofit businesses by maintaining their books, ensuring effective accounting practices, and modernizing their financial processes to comply with increasingly rigorous business standards. Suzanne first discovered her love of accounting and financial management in college as a student in the legal administration program. She loves working alongside people, building their financial competence and confidence, and watching their business succeed in accordance with sound financial practices.
Suzanne has joined Sport Law to provide exceptional accounting support to our clients with the goal of improving efficiencies, reducing costs, and supporting ethical practice. Suzanne has worked in several different industries to support employees and clients in maintaining financial health by providing:

• accounting support and education
• auditing reports
• ensuring record and information management
• preparing and filing tax returns to ensure compliance with CRA
• streamlining accounting processes
• facilitating file migration and integration with contemporary accounting software
• providing monthly bookkeeping, bank reconciliation and year end support
• manage payroll and source deductions
• remittance of HST/QST, year end engagement and corporate tax returns
• creating financial management templates

Suzanne holds Accounting and Business Management Diplomas from the Stratford Career Institute, a Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination Certificate from Coursera and is currently enrolled at Yorkville University in the Bachelor of Business Administration Program. She is the proud mother of four young children and is grateful to them for giving her the ambition and determination needed to advance her career and do meaningful work. Suzanne enjoys hiking, mountain climbing, spending time with her family, and raising awareness for autism.
