Hosted by Dina Bell-Laroche and Steve Indig, partners of Sport Law, this episode welcomes Sport Law Team Member, Michelle Kropp, LL. B., to talk about how litigation can happen within our sport system. Michelle has been a member of the Sport Law team since 2020 and advises a diverse client base, including various not-for-profit and sports organizations, during dispute proceedings as well as providing guidance on general governance issues. Throughout the episode, our hosts ask Michelle to share her experiences as a litigator, how being trauma informed can support these processes, and some of the common themes she sees in her work.
The podcast is meant to answer burning questions from sport leaders, so we are inviting listeners to share ideas for future topics and to ask questions you’d like for us to tackle. Listen and submit questions and comments via email and social media (@sportlawca) to have your say in conversations about healthy, human sport!
