A Way Forward Webinar Series: Challenging Your Assumptions

A Way to Build Trust and Create Healthy Relationships

Friday, March 4th at 12 noon EST

We all have assumptions of the people with whom we are in relationship.  Many times, we assume things about others without ever asking them what is in their heart.  What goes into an assumption is fascinating – the split-second judgments we make are lightning quick and often wholly unfounded. That is a relationship killer.  Our assumptions are often based on our own experiences, perceptions and limiting beliefs.

This one-hour webinar will help you examine the unspoken assumptions that are perpetuated in your personal life and in workplace culture. These assumptions have a direct impact on morale and motivation, as well as our ability to be in good relationship with ourselves and others.

Webinar objectives:

  • Recognize how assumptions are formed
  • Differentiate between “fact” and “story”
  • Managing your emotions
  • Develop language to clear assumptions and navigate towards purposeful conversations

Join Lauren Brett, Integral Coach and Facilitator of Sport Law’s spring Sport Leaders Retreat to explore this much needed leadership wisdom. For those interested, there are still seats available for our next leadership retreats. Find out more here.
