September 9, 2020 – After an intentional pause to recharge, SLSG Partners have relaunched our monthly “Conversation Matters: You Ask, We Share” to bring insight and deepen connections with sport leaders across the country. During COVID-19, the SLSG hosted 15 weekly interactive sessions, attracting dozens of leaders from all levels of sport, to discuss latest information, legal requirements, and human factors. The feedback from our clients has solidified our commitment to ‘give back’ to the community and we are delighted to host these monthly ‘touch points’ as our way of expressing gratitude and elevating the knowledge of sport leaders on a variety of relevant topics.
The free, online drop-in session hosted by SLSG Partners Steve Indig and Dina Bell-Laroche will remain flexible, based on your questions, and hopefully leave you feeling informed and inspired to put in place measures to deal with the stuff that might be keeping you up at night. Details on how to join the next Conversation Matters: You Ask, We Share:
Time: Noon to 1:00 PM EST on September 16, 2020 using our Go to Meeting platform. Register here: https://sportlaw.ca/webinar-series/
Flow: Each conversation will begin with the SLSG Partners welcoming everyone and offering a few insights on relevant issues that are affecting the sport community. We will then move into providing leaders with an opportunity to ask a question or share a perspective that they would like some advice on.
Exciting Update: The SLSG is pleased to announce the arrival of our newest team member, Myla McCormick, who is a recent graduate from Laurentian University. Myla will be supporting the SLSG’s administrative and social media needs and is here to provide our clients with administrative, marketing, and social media support as well. Myla worked as an intern for Lacrosse Canada and in speaking with Executive Director Jane Clapham, she was impressed with Myla’s work ethic, outstanding organizational skills, and proactivity. We are so pleased to be able to offer Myla her first professional position within Canadian Sport as we believe in creating growth opportunities for the next generation of leaders.
