Sport Law & Strategy Group 'Walks' Its Values

Published November 5, 2019

The Sport Law & Strategy Group (SLSG) is inviting sport leaders from across the country to take a few minutes to let us know what you think through our SLSG Client Feedback Survey. We believe in putting our values into action by inviting sport leaders to share their thoughts on what we can do to improve and empower organizations to create safe and thriving sport environments across Canada.

The SLSG values of Professional Integrity, Shared Passion and Continuous Improvement are deeply rooted in all aspects of the company and shape how we make decisions, communicate and who we partner with. One of SLSG’s partners, Dina Bell-Laroche, describes this approach of Management by Values in her e-book Values-In Action: Igniting Passion and Purpose in Sport Organizations and has delivered more than 50 workshops and written many blogs on the topic.

“We believe in the Japanese term ‘kaizen’ and invite feedback from sport leaders who want to help us shape relevant and strategic services to support the growth and resilience of their organizations. We care deeply about making a positive impact on the sport sector as our mission is to help you achieve yours,” shared Dina.

“We are now a group of 11 professionals at the SLSG, located in three cities and continuing to expand. This has happened because we make it our business to remain connected and ‘in tune’ with our clients’ needs which are also continuing to grow.  It is our responsibility to ensure we are providing exceptional sport management services, and the only best way to do that is to go directly to the source and ask how we are doing” shared Steve.

The survey is now available and will remain open until  December 1st, 2019 at which point the SLSG will analyze the results and share them widely.

The Sport Law & Strategy Group has been providing strategic insight to the Canadian sport community since 1992. We offer a full range of management consulting, leadership development and legal services to the Canadian sport community. We are accessible, affordable, highly skilled, and bring experience and common sense to every project. Our mission is to help you achieve yours. To learn more about us please visit www.sportlaw.ca.
