Sport Law & Strategy Group Now Offers Integral Coaching Services

Published August 3, 2012

We are pleased to announce that one of our partners, Dina Bell-Laroche, has successfully completed an intensive 5 month executive coaching program with Integral Coaching Canada. Integral Coaching is a holistic and powerful human development methodology that is based on the rich research of Ken Wilbur, the brilliant mind behind integral theory. At its core, integral coaching is about working with others to help them unleash their full potential and sustain this transformation over time. As a True Sport fellow, Dina enrolled in this intensive coaching program to invest in her own capacity as a sport leader, recognizing that while sport understands the importance of on the field coaching, very little is done to support executives as they look to improve their management performance. One of her goals moving forward is to more systematically support the ongoing development of sport leaders.

“As someone who deeply understands and respects the incredible role of ‘athletic coaching’ I was blown away at how much I got out of this course and the impact I saw that it had on the people I’ve coached,” shared Dina. “Integral Coaching is a powerful, humanistic, compassionate and holistic method of working with others. I’ve experienced it and seen firsthand how this practical and empathetic way of working with others can support their ongoing development.”

If you are interested in learning more about integral coaching and how it can be helpful to you as an executive leader in sport, please feel free to contact Dina at dbl@sportlaw.ca.
